08/26/10 The North Platte Telegraph A new program may help alleviate the strain caused by the North Platte Public Schools dismissing early on Wednesdays. Beginning this semester, all schools in the district will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. for teacher in-service meetings.

BELLEVILLE: School supplies donated for 'Bllitz' event

08/29/10 This year, the Salvation Army, Van Buren Public Schools, and Walgreens on Bellville Road joined together again with "Back to School Blitz III" for another successful school supply drive to help At-Risk students in the Van Buren, Belleville and Sumpter areas.

Grant helps Adams buy PE equipment

02/02/11 The North Platte Telegraph Karni Dickinson doesn't like dodgeball or soccer. The eighth grader now has new exercise equipment to use while her Adams Middle School physical education classes are playing those sports. Thanks to a $4,700 grant from the North Platte Public Schools Foundation, Adams has three new elliptical machines and four airdyne bikes.
