12/01/10 SHOTS FIRED: Neighbors said they heard 15 to 20 shots fired about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Nelson Street. Battle Creek police said they found eight shell casings in the street and said a parked van was hit several times. A house also was struck by a bullet. One neighbor said he saw a car speeding the area after the shooting.
