    Local Leaders Announce I-Promise Partnership Challenging Connecticut Drivers Not To Drive Distracted

    02/25/10 HARTFORD, Conn.----With more than 6,000 deaths nationally due to distracted driving, the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association , The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., and WFSB Channel 3 have joined forces to launch I-PROMISE, an educational campaign to warn Connecticut drivers of all ages of the dangers of driving while distracted and change the way they think and act in the car.
