Softball goes 2-5 at Midwestern St.

03/10/11 The Fort Hays State University softball team hit a slump at the Midwestern State University Invitational this past weekend. With Tigers unable to ever get their bats going, they only won two out of their five games, falling to 8-5 on the season.

Gassmann takes top honors at EIU meet

03/22/11 Max Gassmann made it two-straight indoor victories on Saturday, winning the 1,600-meter event at the Eastern Illinois University Invitational in Charleston. Gassmann set a new meet record with a time of 4:26.12. He also won the 1,600-meter race March 5 at the Southern Illinois University Invitational in Carbondale.

Freeport grad extends dominance in 800

04/18/11 Robert Morris University's Nick Gentile (Freeport) continued a promising freshman campaign by winning the 800-meter championship with a time of 1:55.57 at the Virginia Commonwealth University Invitational in Richmond, Va., this past weekend.
