    06/19/11 Mikal Myers, a 6-foot, 306-pound, three-star defensive lineman from Newburgh Free Academy in New York made an oral commitment to UConn. Myers is the sixth member of the Huskies' Class of 2012 under football coach Paul Pasqualoni. Myers also had offers from Akron, Temple, Buffalo and Penn State.
