College Notes: Michigan's Madwed Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

01/23/11 Dan Madwed (Westhill) of Michigan won his second Big Ten Swimmer of the Week honor after he captured the 100 butterfly (47.99) and 200 fly (1:45.28) against an elite field at the SMU Invitational. He also placed second in the 200 free and swam with two second place relays teams.

03/04/11 Area swimmers won numerous medals during recent postseason competition. Dan Madwed (Westhill) helped 9th-ranked Michigan capture the Big Ten swim championship.
