Other news01/05/11 NEWBURYPORT The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log: Charles M. Merrill, 49, 7 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, was issued a summons Monday at 8:21 p.m. on charges of uttering a false prescription, obtaining drugs by fraud (subsequent offense) and two counts of identity fraud. Inspector Michael Sugrue issued the summons on Pond Street.
