Early Pension For Moody Questioned

05/29/11 Malloy's General Counsel And State Comptroller Disagree On Validity Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's top lawyer raised questions last week about how former Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell's chief of staff, M. Lisa Moody, was allowed to retire and begin collecting a $55,200-a-year lifetime pension on Feb. 1, about 3? years short of the minimum state retirement age of 55.

Malloy Replaces Controversial Family Magistrate Oliveira

07/10/11 Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has named four new $121,615-a-year family support magistrates to decide cases involving child support, alimony, visitation, and paternity -- and, in doing so, he is replacing a controversial appointee of former Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell, former Old Lyme Republican Town Chairman Christopher Oliveira.
