'Friendly Fire' author Bryan dies in Conn. at 73

12/20/09 HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- C.D.B. Bryan, whose 1976 book "Friendly Fire" about the accidental death of a soldier in Vietnam struck a chord with disillusioned Americans, has died at his Connecticut home. He was 73.
