    Metro-North Train, Without Riders, Catches Fire

    08/08/09 Investigators are trying to determine what caused a train to catch fire at the Fairfield station. Metro-North spokesman Dan Brucker says no one was injured and there were no passengers aboard the train during the fire Friday, described at the time as smoldering. READ MORE>>

    08/08/09 Peterborough police have charged a Havelock man with four offences after responding to a call about a man going into cars on a south-end street. Officers were called at 1:30 this morning to Middlefield Road, where they found a man and detained him.
