    02/08/10 DANBURY - Danbury Police Department Captain Terry Shanahan was named deputy chief Thursday after serving as acting deputy chief since Sept. 16. "He's the kind of person who gets it done," said Chief Al Baker , who moved from Racine, Wis., to Danbury for the chief's job in March 2005. "He knows the history and the practices."
