Kayaking championships canceled with Missoula wave a washed-out ripple

06/16/11 With Brennan's Wave looking like barely more than a ripple in the flooded Clark Fork River, organizers of the 2011 First Interstate Bank Montana Whitewater Championships have decided to cancel the event and focus instead on amping up the excitement around other whitewater events scheduled for later this summer.

Petition calls for referendum on old Oakwood golf club rezoning in South Euclid

07/12/11 The South Euclid City Council voted 7-0 last month to rezone more than 60 acres of the former country club to allow for retail shops and big-box stores. First Interstate Properties bought the property in December and plans to build a 325,000-square-foot project called Oakwood Commons.
