    Madison Co. jail escapee surrenders in Elberton

    06/16/11 ELBERTON - A man who escaped from the Madison County Jail more than four days ago turned himself in Thursday morning in Elberton. According to the Athens Banner-Herald, 31-year-old Russell Frank Massey showed up at the Elbert County Sheriff's Office around 8:15 a.m. to voluntarily surrender.
