Iowa Select Farms pays DNR penalty

07/12/11 DES MOINES - Iowa Select Farms, L.L.P., which has swine finishing units near Kanawha and Jewell, paid a $7,000 penalty for its failure to obtain construction permits before building new permanent manure transfer structures at the sites, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources said.
