Carcass cleanup costs: $50,000 annually

07/09/10 Colorado Department of Transportation employee Donna Emenegger loads a deer carcass into a truck on U.S. Highway 160/550 on Thursday afternoon. Nancy Shanks, spokeswoman with CDOT, said the department spends about $50 for each carcass it picks up.
