At Pinecliff Lake, membership woes push a spike in fee

04/25/11 It may seem counterintuitive, but the Pinecliff Community Lake Club is raising its initiation prices - from a current price of $100 to $4,050 starting next year - in a strategy designed to attract more members. They hope the pricetag will seem like a deal compared to next year's fee and provide the incentive for more homeowners to join now at a time when the club's costs are rising.
