    06/22/11 Motoring across the heartland of our nation is always interesting, exhilarating and enjoyable. We took such a trip recently as we drove the 620 miles from our home in Lake Orion to Chesterfield, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis, to visit our grandchildren. The weather was great and since we left on a Sunday, the roads were almost void of traffic.
