WEB EXCLUSIVE: MMC teams go undefeated to open Modesto City Classic

12/03/09 The Modesto Metro Conference went 3-0 at Downey High during the opening night of the 16-team Modesto City Classic, though one of them gets an asterisk. Davis rallied in the fourth quarter to beat East Union 70-67, while Modesto pulled away from Buhach Colony late in the game for a 71-57 win. The Panthers had an eight-point advantage from the free-throw line, 17-9.
