Dialysis center faces a delay for care certification

07/13/11 Bob Lampe's commute for care ended when he became a "test" patient for Le Mars Area Dialysis Services. Lampe, a Le Mars resident, won't be joined soon by other dialysis patients, organizers of the new health care service were told this week.

Municipal Band concert features area band instructor on sax

07/11/11 The fifth concert of the summer season will be presented by the Le Mars Municipal Band at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Foster Park. Director Jerry Bertrand is in his 24th year conducting the band. The Rev. Gary Landsness will announce the concert.

Cyclone baseball team wins a pair

07/19/11 HARLAN -- The Harlan Community baseball team won a pair of home games late last week, topping Clarinda 15-5 in six innings Thursday night and beating Le Mars 9-6 on Friday.
