New fire station opens in Thorntown

03/21/11 An official grand opening and public tour is being held today for the $1.06 million Thorntown/Sugar Creek Fire Station. The 13,000-square-foot building at 301 W. Grant St. -- on Ind. 75 between Grant and Mill streets -- features seven bays for fire engines, a radio room, kitchen, two offices and a meeting room.
