Man swept away in waters of Taneycomo still missing

05/26/11 An unidentified man was swept away Wednesday when he apparently tried to elude Taney County deputies by swimming across flood-swollen Lake Taneycomo.

07/04/11 In the dark I can hear the waters of Lake Taneycomo. Its swift currents below Table Rock Dam flow like a river. Its cold water has lured trout fisherman since before the dawn.
