    Second man pleads guilty to fall murder at homeless camp

    06/20/11 Travis Birkhead, a 50-year-old homeless man, has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in the October death of Jerry Schneider at a homeless camp in Columbia. The plea agreement with the state will send him to prison for 18 years.
