07/08/11 The public is invited to an open house Thursday for a drainage improvement project on the Stettinger Outlot on the east side of 40th Street just south of Faulkner Drive. The open house is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Cripple Creek park shelter, 6601 Beaver Creek Lane.
07/07/11 Randy King, 63, of Canon City, died July 2, 2011. Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, at Lifeway Southern Baptist Church, 1007 Elm Ave. in Canon City. He was born April 24, 1948, in Danville, Pa., to Royce and LaVerne (Drake) King.
