Friends of Forum plan Beauty and the Beast gala fundraiser

04/12/11 A gala celebration to raise money for renovations at Broome County's Forum Theatre will take place June 3. The Friends of the Forum third fundraising event will tie-in with the upcoming production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The Forum is on the national list of historic places and the Broadway Theatre League, Tri-Cities Opera and Binghamton Philharmonic use it as their main stage.

Local Actress Accepted Into Acclaimed Program

04/29/11 Ponca City High School Senior Daisy Cummings has been performing since she could walk and put on plastic Barbie heels. Recently, Cummings' performance experience paid off when she was accepted into the prestigious Broadway Theatre Project in Gainesville, Fla.
