Other news05/30/11 Aspen Mountain will reopen for skiing this weekend with a better base depth of snow on Memorial Day than it had on New Year's Day. The base depth has hovered around 70 inches at the mountain-top since the Aspen Skiing Co. announced last week it will extend the skiing season.
06/11/11 Alan Burnham, left, was honored by Colorado Ski Country USA as snow groomer of the year. The snowcat driver on Aspen Mountain was congratulated at an award banquet Wednesday night by Aspen Skiing Co. President and CEO Mike Kaplan.
