Kirk and Anne Douglas Give L.A.'s Center Theatre Group $2 Million

05/23/11 Screen actor Kirk Douglas and his wife, Anne, awarded a $1 million challenge grant to Center Theatre Group to be combined with their earlier $1 million seed grant for new work, which results in a $2 million investment in the future of Los Angeles theatre, CTG announced.

07/11/11 Clybourne Park, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Bruce Norris, will be part of Center Theatre Group's 2011-12 season at Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. The announcement was made July 11, in tandem with the revelation of four titles in the eighth CTG season at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City, CA.
