North Tonawanda Police Search For Robbery Suspect

07/06/11 NORTH TONAWANDA, NY-- Police detectives in North Tonawanda need your help in locating a robbery suspect. Detectives say a man walked into the Red Apple on Ruie Road Saturday, July 2nd around 9:30pm and demanded money. The suspect allegedly showed the cashier a knife.

Rabies not present in tested woodchucks

07/07/11 As a follow-up to our warning of last week about possible rabid animals on Tonawanda Island in the City of North Tonawanda, it is noted that the NYSDOH Wadsworth Rabies Laboratory has confirmed that rabies was NOT present in the two woodchucks tested.
