Sewer board OKs request for Walmart-area service

11/10/09 By MICHAEL ANICH The Leader-Herald JOHNSTOWN - The Gloversville-Johnstown Joint Sewer Board on Monday granted the town of Johnstown's request to allow sewer capacity for land near the proposed Walmart Supercenter site. "I'm real excited about that," town Supervisor Roy Palmateer said today. The sewer board approval is contingent upon approvals from the cities of Gloversville and Johnstown.
