Bay Photo in escrow to buy Seagate property

07/02/11 SCOTTS VALLEY -- Bay Photo is proposing to buy Seagate Technology's 17 acres at 900, 915 and 920 Disc Drive in Scotts Valley as its headquarters, converting some of the office space to manufacturing and relocating its 200 employees from the city of Santa Cruz.

Little League teams battle for four All-Star crowns

07/07/11 Three of the five Scotts Valley Little League All-Star teams are rolling through their respective District 39 tournaments, while the 7- and 8-year-olds have already won theirs. Four San Lorenzo Valley Little league teams are vying for crowns, too, making the upcoming weekend one to remember.

07/07/11 Scotts Valley Middle School students Lexy Stevens, 13, and Sjea Anderson, 12, paired up for the first time to compete in the main beach volleyball tournament hosted by California Beach Volleyball Association. They took third place out of 25 teams in the 14-and-under age group last weekend.
