Columbus honors early military aviator

02/16/11 COLUMBUS -- The First Aero Squadron Foundation, in conjunction with the Columbus Historical Society, held a special event Monday at the American Legion Hall in downtown Columbus to celebrate and honor the late Air Force General Howard C. Davidson, who had been one of the country's earliest military aviators.

'Citizens Serving America,' MN Air Natl. Guard Defends Freedom for 90 Years

07/14/11 It's been around since 1921...and today, the Minnesota's Air National Guard is marking its 90th Anniversary in St. Paul. Minnesota's 109th Aero Squadron became the first federally recognized Air National Guard in the country back then.
