11/26/10 Happy Thanksgiving! Today we visit with retired vintner and friend of the vine Ed Soehnel of Alta Loma. Ed served as manager of the famous Opici family winery in Alta Loma, which many fondly recall even today.

Eighteen-team baseball tournament on tap

02/24/11 Bonita head baseball coach John Knott and Alta Loma coach Ted Persell have helped organize an 18-team, eight-day tournament that will begin March 4. The Dick s Sporting Goods Southern California Preseason baseball tournament includes local teams Los Osos, Bonita, Rancho Cucamonga, Damien, Alta Loma, Redlands East Valley and Yucaipa.
