Register's Iowa Sports Hall of Fame: Metcalf's big dreams have taken her to Olympics and beyond

07/16/11 Metcalf earned first-team all-state honors three times at Western Christian High School in Hull and twice led her team to a state championship. In college, she was a three-time All-American and two-time Big 12 Conference Player of the Year at Nebraska. She's spent a decade with the U.S. national team while also playing professionally overseas.
