Aces beat Salmon Kings to lead playoff series 3-0

04/30/11 No drama Saturday night -- the Alaska Aces throttled the Victoria Salmon Kings , 6-2. The Aces, perfect in the playoffs, are one victory away from earning a spot in the ECHL's Kelly Cup Finals for the third time in the last six hockey seasons after they won Game 3 of the best-of-seven, Western Conference Finals in British Columbia.

Salmon King open-hearted about life, losing and marriage in the minors

05/04/11 Players threw around some mixed emotions in the dressing room of the Victoria Salmon Kings on Tuesday morning. Most were lamenting Monday's loss to the Alaska Aces which elminiated them from the playoffs and the end of the franchise.
