    THE SPORSTMANS CORNER: California men convicted of 2005 Nevada violations

    02/19/10 Two California men were convicted February 10 for illegal possession of a mule deer, a gross misdemeanor and were sentenced to fines, jail time and forfeiture of the equipment used in the crime. Jon Warren, 40, of Redding, and Alan Jeffers, 57, of Anderson, were ordered to forfeit their truck, flatbed trailer, ATVs, firearms and other equipment that they used when they took the animal in 2005.
