Tucson Food Bank changes name

07/08/11 TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Community Food Bank in Tucson is changing its name.  It's now the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. The name change is meant to reflect the service area of the food bank, which helps Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima and Santa Cruz counties. Last year the food bank distributed nearly 30 million pounds of food.

Goodwill has plans to open 3 stores, 1 drop-off facility

07/11/11 Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona has plans for two additional Tucson-area locations and one in Casa Grande. A store in Oro Valley, on North La Ca?ada Drive near West Lambert Lane, should open in early October, said Lisa Allen, Goodwill of Southern Arizona's chief operating officer. That location will be in a new building next to a Fry's Food Store, Allen said.
