Grain elevator workshop scheduled for Feb. 4 in Amarillo

01/01/10 AMARILLO - The Texas High Plains Grain Elevator Workshop will be held Feb. 4 at the Ashmore Inn and Suites, 2301 Interstate 40 East, Exit 72-A, in Amarillo, according to a Texas AgriLife Extension Service specialist.The meeting is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., said Dr. Ed Bynum, AgriLife Extension entomologist in Amarillo. Hamilton County agent receives Texas AgriLife Extension Service award

01/17/10 Texas Shirley Gerald, Texas AgriLife Extension Service family and consumer sciences agent in Hamilton County, was honored with a Superior Service Award at the annual Texas A&M AgriLife conference held recently in College Station. The award documentation cited Gerald's "ability to see beyond what has traditionally been done and challenge others to think outside of the box."
