Thunderstorms in NW Tucson spawned Tuesday's massive dust storm

07/07/11 Powerful downdrafts created when thunderstorms near Marana and Oro Valley collapsed became the wind that pushed huge dust storms into Phoenix and Yuma on Tuesday, the National Weather Service and an Arizona State University professor said.

Goodwill has plans to open 3 stores, 1 drop-off facility

07/11/11 Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona has plans for two additional Tucson-area locations and one in Casa Grande. A store in Oro Valley, on North La Ca?ada Drive near West Lambert Lane, should open in early October, said Lisa Allen, Goodwill of Southern Arizona's chief operating officer. That location will be in a new building next to a Fry's Food Store, Allen said.
