Taylor Fire grows quickly, smoke drifts into Oak Creek

08/17/09 FLAGSTAFF, AZ -- Smoke and falling ash from the Taylor Fire near Flagstaff is filling the air around the Verde Valley. Smoke has been reported in the cities of Cottonwood, Clarkdale and in Oak Creek Canyon.

Smoke from fire drifts over Cards' camp

08/17/09 FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Smoke and falling ash from the Taylor Fire drifted over the Arizona Cardinals' camp at Flagstaff and the Verde Valley on Monday. "You cannot see the mountains of Flagstaff because the smoke is so thick," said Doug Franz of Sports 620 KTAR.
