JPD: Semi slams into car at red light; 1 air-lifted to The Med

06/30/11 According to Jonesboro Police, the passenger car stopped at a red light at the intersection of Rogers Chapel and Highway 18 when an 18-wheeler rear-ended them. One man was taken to the Med in Memphis, while a woman was taken to St. Bernards.

Woman seriously hurt when her own pit bull attacked

07/05/11 According to the Jonesboro Police Department, the attack happened on Saturday, July 2.  That afternoon an officer was called to a home on Olive Street.
