05/01/10 An apparent tornado plowed through Dierks, AR Friday evening. This picture was captured and submitted by Ramona Hill. The storm left behind widespread damaged to the area with damage to a several homes, a laundrymat, and several chicken houses. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries. 04/24/10 Jennifer Noel of Dierks High School and Cody Ray of Nashville High School recently were named recipients of the $1,000 September Fund scholarship. The fund is a nonprofit corporation established on the second anniversary of 9/11 as a memorial to first responders who died that day. |
