Duke Strengthening Substation Security In Wake of Fatal Burglary

07/19/11 A spokesperson for Duke Energy says the company is "taking measures to strengthen security" at its power substations in the Carolinas following another outage caused by a suspected copper thief. In this case, the suspect was electrocuted.
