07/12/11 100 YEARS AGO July 12, 1911 For the first time in the history of the county an automobile is being used to transport United States mail over a star route. M.B. Linn, contractor for the Conway-Quitman route, returned tonight after having made a round trip of 60 miles in less than six hours.
