02/22/11 Mountain Oaks School in San Andreas will host an alumni basketball game Saturday, Feb. 26, for past and present players. All alumni will be asked to chip in $5 for officials. Participants can also purchase a Mountain Oaks T-shirt with a name and number.

Winning science fair students go to state

04/28/11 Several Calaveras County students will advance to the state science fair in Los Angeles next week. According to the Calaveras County Office of Education, students from Mark Twain Elementary School, Christian Family Learning Center, Bret Harte High School, Mountain Oaks Charter School and Jenny Lind Elementary School won the county contest April 16 and will compete at the state level.

05/27/11 Mountain Oaks School is sponsoring its fourth annual golf tournament, banquet and silent auction, June 3 at Saddle Creek in Copperopolis. Entry fee is $125 per person, which includes golf, cart, banquet and extras.
