Oregon Cat Becomes Nation's First to Die of H1N1 Flu

11/23/09 An Oregon cat has become the first feline to die of the H1N1 flu in the United States. A ten-year-old tabby cat in Lebanon began showing respiratory symptoms last week and died within four days of a visit to the vet.

Cedarville Middle School Student Dies

10/26/09 A Van Buren student who tested positive for swine flu died over the weekend at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Kristen Armer was a 7th grader at Cedarville Middle School who was wheelchair bound due to a neurological disease called Transverse Myelitis.

Flu shot clinic held at Mountainburg
