Morrison wins showmanship award

05/14/11 Mackenzie Morrison of Mountain Home won the Junior Grand Champion Steers Showmanship Award at the recent Arkansas Spring Livestock in Little Rock. Morrison is a member of the Baxter County Livestock 4-H Club. The show is sponsored by Arkansas Farm Bureau and the Arkansas State Fair.

Funeral arrangements for Stanley Reed

07/17/11 Funeral arrangements have been announced for Stanley Reed of Marianna. The 59-year-old former president of the Arkansas Farm Bureau died in an auto accident Friday near Augusta as he returned to his farm.
