Other news06/13/11 Thousands of homes were without power for most of the night Monday, and more homes could be in the dark until Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. According to Paul Brewster with Entergy Arkansas, an estimated 6,000 residents were without power early Monday night; however he expected that number to be trimmed to roughly 1,500 by Tuesday morning.
07/12/11 (KATV) Entergy Arkansas currently provides electricity to more than 960,000 customers, but they plan to expand. Tuesday, Entergy announced it will take over a power generating plant near Malvern to meet demand. It will cost 253 million dollars.
