    11/15/09 According to an Arkansas State Police report, Jacksonville resident John Michael Dollar, 53, died Oct. 31 after being struck by a vehicle. The accident occurred at about 9:45 p.m., on Arkansas Highway 65 near Shadow Ridge Road.

    UPDATE: 4 arrested for body found under I-430 bridge

    11/19/09 Pulaski County Sheriff's Department arrest four people Wednesday for the death of a man found near the I-430 bridge by a jogger. Investigators say a runner saw the body of Jose Humberto Mejia lying in the bushes just before 7am Sunday morning and called police.

    Bond issue set to fund many wastewater projects

    11/19/09 The Jacksonville City Council approved an $18 million project to set the wheels in motion for Jacksonville Wastewater Utility to cut costs and go green at the same time. The vote followed a public hearing on the matter on Nov. 10.
