Police: possible break-in leads to fatal shooting

02/16/10 NEW INFORMATION:   Brookland Police and the Craighead County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible home break-in that led to a fatal shooting Monday night in Brookland. Police say the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Monday night at 110 Christe Street in Brookland.

MSSU baseball team picks up road win in Oklahoma

02/16/10 CJ Maffei pitched five solid innings and Patrick Deao provided the run support to lead the Missouri Southern Lions to a 6-3 victory over the Northeastern State RiverHawks Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 16) in Tahlequah, Okla.  It is the second straight win for the Lions, who improve to 2-2 on the season.  The RiverHawks fall to 4-5.
