    Wetumpka OKs funds for loader at landfill

    01/22/10 The Wetumpka City Council this week approved repairs for the loader at the city landfill that will cost $17,969. The loader, a critical piece of equipment at the landfill, is currently inoper­able. The Alabama Department of Environmental Management requires that the loader be oper­ational when the city begins us­ing a planned new cell at the city's construction and demoli­tion landfill.
