    AL awards grant to help sexual assault victims

    02/28/10 Gov. Bob Riley has awarded a $25,000 grant to a nonprofit organization that assists victims of sexual assault in four east Alabama counties.  The grant to Rape Counselors of East Alabama, based in Opelika, will help provide support services to victims in Chambers, Lee, Macon and Tallapoosa counties.
